According to The Hollywood Reporter, Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, the co-writers and directors of the 2019 pic, are not set to return to the forthcoming follow up. Instead it is reported that Disney is in final negotiations with Megan McDonnell to pen the script.
McDonnell has penned the Marvel-based series WandaVision, which is set to debut later this year on Disney+.
Captain Marvel banked $1.1 billion at the box office worldwide.

]]>Deadline exclusively reported Friday that Grey’s Anatomy veteran Justin Chambers is officially exiting the medical drama.
Chambers starred on the hit ABC series since it debuted in 2005.
“There’s no good time to say goodbye to a show and character that’s defined so much of my life for the past 15 years,” Chambers said in a statement. “For some time now, however, I have hoped to diversify my acting roles and career choices. And, as I turn 50 and am blessed with my remarkable, supportive wife and five wonderful children, now is that time.
“As I move on from Grey’s Anatomy, I want to thank the ABC family, Shonda Rimes, original cast members Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson and James Pickens, and the rest of the amazing cast and crew, both past and present, and, of course, the fans for an extraordinary ride.”
Pompeo, aka Dr. Meredith Grey, is officially the last original intern still on the show.
Chamber’s last episode has already aired on November 14th.

]]>The series is set to return to Netflix on January 17th, following Asa Butterfield’s Otis Milburn, the unofficial sex therapist at Moordale Secondary, as his relationships with his girlfriend Ola (Patricia Allison) and friend Maeve (Emma Mackey) definitely become complicated.
In the trailer, we see Otis’ mom (Gillian Anderson), the sex therapist, addressing the whole school about sex and sleeping with Ola’s dad, Mikael Persbrandt’s Jakob. It also looks like everyone’s favorite best friend, Eric (Ncuti Gatwa), is finally getting his shot at love with a foreign exchange student from France.
Sex Education was written by Laurie Nunn, and we couldn’t agree more with the tagline of the second season, “Life is hard. Love is messy. Messy is normal.”
The second season was directed by Ben Taylor, Alice Seabright, and Sophie Goodhart. Executive producing are Jamie Campbell, Nunn, and Taylor.
We can’t wait to see what’s in store for these high schoolers!
