The rapper dropped his 8th studio album today and to celebrate the special event, he invited celebrities, reporters, and musicians for a private listening party. Stars like Chris Rock, Jonah Hill, Nas, 2 Chainz, Scooter Braun, Ty Dolla $ign, and Teyana Taylor were all in attendance and jammed out to Kanye’s latest songs.
TMZ reports that Kanye has been working on his follow up to 2016’s The Life of Pablo and prior to its official release, the rapper live-streamed the album listening party on the app WAV.
Over the past few months, Kanye has spent a lot of time recording in Jackson Hole with artists like Big Sean, Travis Scott, Migos, and Drake, according to E! News.
“Kanye loves to escape to Wyoming to record his music because it is peaceful and he can lock up and really focus on getting tracks done,” a source told E! News.
“He thinks by being at the mountains, he doesn’t have many distractions and can have a more clear sense of direction for his music,” the source continued. “That is why he usually escapes there when he is in the zone to get things done.”

]]>The 32-year-old daughter of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley got engaged to longtime boyfriend, Ryan Gleason. She revealed the news on Instagram on Monday with a photo of herself kissing her man while showing off her emerald cut engagement ring.
“He said to me: ‘Before I met you, my world was in black and white. You colored it in between the lines,'” Alexa captioned the sweet snapshot. “It was the most beautiful thing anybody’s ever said to me. How could I possibly say no to that?!?!”
She also shared a photo of the couple on the beach after the proposal.
“So I was completely taken off-guard, dumbstruck, and shell-shocked- and FOR ONCE in my life, I had absolutely no words, and I couldn’t speak…” she wrote.”I just kept staring at this ridiculously exquisite ring- and he was just hysterically laughing at me!!!”
Ryan also posted a photo of the huge sparkler, which he captioned “Luckiest guy in the world!!!!”
Alexa just celebrated her 32nd birthday on Dec. 29 while on a beach vacation.
The newly-engaged couple has been dating for five years. Alexa is the only child of Joel and Brinkley, who divorced in 1994. Joel also has two young daughters, Della and Remy, with his fourth wife, Alexis Roderick, while Brinkley has a 19-year-old daughter, Sailor Lee, with ex-husband Peter Cook and a 22-year-old son, Jack Paris, from her previous marriage to Richard Taubman.
Back in July, Brinkley told ET about her daughter’s now-fiancé, saying “I totally approve. Nicest guy, real sweetheart.”
“He just gets her, and I see him sort of looking at her in that special way. It’s sweet.”

]]>“I assumed I wouldn’t live very long and that I would die lonely and an addict of some sort,” Fonda told the publication. “I didn’t think if I did live this long, that I would be vibrant and healthy and still working. I’m grateful.”
Fonda was born in 1937 to Henry Fonda and Frances Ford Brokaw. Her mother suffered from mental illness and committed suicide when she was just 12 years old.
Despite suffering a great loss as a child, the actress said there are many things to be grateful for today.
“I’m thankful that I’ve gotten better over the 80 years,” she said. “I’m less judgmental. I’m forgiving. It wasn’t always true. I’ve really worked hard to get better as a human being.”
Recently, Fonda has received praises for her role in Netflix’s Grace and Frankie, which earned Emmy nods in 2016 and 2017. She plays Grace alongside Lily Tomlin’s Frankie.

“Though I very much hoped to be able to recover my vocal cords in time to pick the tour back up in January, and after exploring many options to that effect, I have accepted that this is an injury that simply needs more time and care to heal. I feel for all of you who planned ahead to come to these shows and who have been so patient as I took the time needed to figure out the best course of action with my doctors,” the 40-year old pop star continued. “Thankfully, I am so relieved and happy to share with you that I will be getting back on the road in June 2018 with my El Dorado World Tour in Europe, and the US, with Latin America dates to be announced soon.”
“I am very proud of this show; I feel it’s my best yet, since it has a repertoire filled with heartfelt songs and exciting moments of music and dance,” she added. “I really can’t wait for June! I promise to give you all of me and more from the minute I get on that stage and I am counting the days till showtime!”
Early in November, the “Waka Waka” singer first announced the postponement of some of her tours due to vocal cord hemorrhage. A few weeks later she postpones the entire tour to have enough time to recover from a vocal cord injury.
“Shakira’s doctors have determined that she needs to spend the next few months working towards recovery in order for her vocal cords to be in optimal condition for touring, and as such we are obliged to postpone the U.S. leg of the El Dorado World Tour, previously scheduled for January 2018. Tickets will be valid for the new date in your city or can be refunded at point of purchase if needed,” Live Nation, the concert promoter of Shakira’s shows, said in a press release.
“Though it has been a difficult time for Shakira, she is on her way towards recovering her voice fully and we are pleased to announce new dates for both the U.S. and European legs, beginning in June 2018. Please note Mexico and Latin America show dates are forthcoming,” Live Nation continued. “While disappointed to not be able to perform in January as scheduled, Shakira is happy to be able to get back on the road by summer with her best show yet, and remains incredibly grateful for all the loyalty, patience and support her fans have shown her.”

]]>This marks her first competition since welcoming her baby girl, Alexis Olympia, in September. And prior to her daughter’s arrival, Williams won her 23rd Grand Slam title at the 2017 Australian Open in January. She was eight weeks pregnant at the time.
“I am delighted to be returning to the court in Abu Dhabi for the first time since the birth of my daughter in September,” the 36-year-old tennis champ told ESPN in a statement on Sunday. “The Mubadala World Tennis Championship has long marked the beginning of the men’s global tennis season and I am excited and honored to be making my comeback as part of the first women to participate in the event.”
Williams’ rep said in April that the tennis pro would take maternity leave and take time off until 2018. In addition to becoming a mother, she also wed Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in November.
According to ESPN, the Mubadala World Tennis Championship is set to be part of Williams’ preparation to defend her Australian Open title.
Earlier this month, Australian Open tournament director Craig Tiley told reporters that Williams was “very likely” to play in the first Grand Slam of 2018, which starts Jan. 15.
“She’s got her visa, she’s entered, she’s practicing and she’s probably just got to find a bit more space for a bigger entourage,” he said, according to E!.

The 27-year-old singer is preparing for her upcoming album, and opened up to ET about what it was like to be back in studio again.
“It’s finally been a moment where I can actually just really show off my musical talent with some of the most amazing people that I’ve met in this journey. And I just felt like, as humble as I can say this, it’s about time,” she explained. “I do really feel that, so I’m so happy that everybody kind of loves the songs. Everyone’s just really being positive, so it’s lovely.”
Ora and Payne also posted the photo on their Instagram accounts with caption, #FiftyShadesFreed.
Payne is not the first former One Direction member to record a soundtrack for the movie. Zayn Malik collaborated with Taylor Swift for the song “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” which was part of Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack. They debuted the music video in January and the song earned a 2018 Grammy nomination for Best Song Written for Visual Media category, according to E!.

The “Bad Romance” singer is no stranger to performing on big stages. She just pulled out her elaborate productions on Joanne World Tour, played on Super Bowl halftime show and Coachella.

According to Variety, Gaga will perform 74 dates with the probability of a longer run. The deal is estimated at almost $100 million, with the singer locking in $75 million over two years. The contract was negotiated by CAA’s Christian Carino and lawyer Kenny Meiselas of Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks with Sonya Guardo.

]]>The 38-year-old actress confirmed her pregnancy back in August, saying on NBC’s Today show that she is “really excited “ to be a mom. “I’d like to be the fun mom, I know I’m gonna be the dorky mom,” she said. “So if I can be kind of fun too, I think that would be nice.”
Kaling has been quiet about the identity of her baby’s father. She is not publicly involved with anyone romantically. “My professional life is the only thing that I feel I have a lot of control over—romantic stuff is a little bit more mysterious,” Kaling told American Way magazine, published in September.
That same month, her Mindy Project co-stars revealed the gender of her child. She confirmed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in October that she was expecting a baby girl. “I’m not waiting. I was – I wanted to know way early. I’m having a girl,” she told Ellen.
According to Daily Mail, Kaling’s inspiration for parenting style would be her mother.
“My mom was incredibly fierce and so devoted to us, just loved us and really wanted us to be happy no matter what we did,” she shared.
“My career choice was not something that she was familiar with and she was just so supportive of that. And if I could give that to my child, just that open-mindedness, I’d be so happy.”
Kaling’s career skyrocketed after starring as the lively Kelly Kapoor in the comedy sitcom The Office from 2005 to 2013. Recently, she starred as OB/GYN Mindy Lahiri in her own series, The Mindy Project, which aired it’s finale after its sixth and final season earlier this year.
