]]>That seems to definitely be the philosophy of Jennifer Lopez who turns 50 years old this year!
And while most of us are probably questioning how quickly time has flown, the “Dinero” singer is encouraging us to get loud instead!
Jenny from the Block, as she is known, has announced that she will be heading on tour to celebrate the milestone.
“I wanted to do something big for my birthday since it is a big birthday,” she told Ellen DeGeneres on her show. “It’s the It’s My Party tour! We’re gonna celebrate.”
The tour will take place across the United States, as well as some shows in Puerto Rica and Canada.
Beginning on the 7th of June, the tour will run until the 26th of July — two days after Jen’s 50th birthday.

The 60-year-old comedian will be hitting the road later this year, launching her tour in August with fans having eight chances to see her performing live behind the mic.

Back then she said in a release via the streaming giant: “It has been 15 years since I did a stand-up special. 15 years. And I’m writing it now, I can’t wait. I’ll keep you posted when and where I’m gonna shoot my Netflix special. I’m excited to do it; I’m excited for you to see it.”
An Evening With Ellen DeGeneres will mark the comic’s first TV comedy special since she filmed 2003’s Emmy-nominated Ellen DeGeneres: Here and Now for HBO.

]]>The production will make its way across the country with an official opening at the Pantages in Los Angeles. Additional dates for the tour’s itinerary as well as castings have yet to be announced. It is known, however, that the production will keep its musical direction of two-time Tony winner Stephen Oremus and conductor Dave Metzger during the tour.
The Disney adaptation has received three Tony nominations for best score, book and musical. Music was composed by the husband and wife duo Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, the book is by Jennifer Lee. Michael Grandage serves as director.
“The only reason to expand this piece into a full-length Broadway musical was to dive much deeper into the idea of a family that can get frozen into dysfunction because of fear and shame,” Anderson-Lopez said of Frozen on-stage adaptation to The Hollywood Reporter. “To come to the theater and sit and have this analog experience with other people, allowing your emotions to really get as big as the emotions onstage, is something that we kind of need, and it can be really healing.”

]]>The quintet has been playing games with our hearts since 1993 and is now embarking a global tour after completing its residency in Las Vegas.
The group — comprising of AJ McLean, Howie D., Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Littrell — now has some “larger than life” news to share… they’re going into the tequila business! During the Cancun, Mexico leg of their tour (aka the home of the amber alcohol), Nick told Tasting Table, “That leads us into talking about our tequila venture that we’ll be coming out with. [We] just need to find a partner here in Mexico.”
To be honest, we can’t think of any liquid more appropriate to “show us the meaning of being lonely…”
While no further details have been announced as yet, it can’t be too early to get the lime and salt ready to rock our bodies.
