Days after Netflix announced Uma Thurman will star in its upcoming supernatural drama, the streaming giant confirms that Tony Goldwyn opposite Thurman.

The Scandal alum has finally booked his follow-up role after seven seasons on the ABC political drama. The former President Fitzgerald Grant is set to play a lead role in Chambers,  Netflix’s new hourlong supernatural drama.

Goldwyn will play Ben Lefevre, the father of heart donor Becky. He is charming and warm, a businessman who also hides a mystical inclination that knows no bounds. After the death of his daughter, Ben becomes even more devoted to the cause of a new age spiritual center. Thurman stars as Nancy, Goldwyn’s on-screen wife, and Becky’s mother, who embarks on a relationship with the recipient of her daughter’s heart, but as the two get closer, Nancy realizes that the donor is eerily picking up her daughter’s characteristics.

The series was created and written by Leah Rachel, who co-showruns with Akela Cooper. The two executive produce alongside Stephen Gaghan via Super Emotional. Alfonso Gomez-Rejon is set to direct the pilot.

The series landed a 10-episode straight-to-series order by the streaming giant in January.
