“Family every single day and night,” we’ll be hearing a lot more of this to come.

That’s right, everybody’s favorite family, The Proud Family, will be making their way back to our screens. Suga Mama herself, played by Jo Marie Payton, confirmed the news to GMA3 that a revival is in the works with Disney+.

The Proud Family aired from 2001-2005, for three seasons. One of the hosts of GMA3, Keke Palmer, asked Payton about Suga Mama’s character and Payton said, “Yeah, Suga’s large and in charge. That’s all I’ve got to say — except for Suga Mama will be doing some new episodes come February.”

The show was created by Bruce W. Smith and it was about Penny Proud, voiced by Kyla Pratt, and her African American family and friends. Gabrielle Union, Kobe Bryant, and Mariah Carey guest-starred. The cast also included Paula Jai Parker as Trudy, Alisa Reyes as LaCienega Boulevardez, Karen Malina White as Dijonay, Orlando Brown as Sticky Webb, Soleil Moon Frye as Zoey and Tara Strong as twins Bebe/Cece and Puff the Poodle.

A revival was first mentioned in August when Tommy Davidson, the voice of Oscar Proud, told @WhereIsTheBuzzTV that the show was going to be revived by Disney+.
