People reported that many famous actresses have confirmed they are planning on wearing black gowns to the red carpet in order to express their protest against sexual harassment in Hollywood. The same trend might continue throughout the award season.

The outlet has quoted a source saying, “All female actresses attending the Globes are protesting by just wearing black gowns.”

Among the men who were accused of harassment in the past few months are producer Harvey Weinstein, actor and producer Kevin Spacey, filmmaker Brett Ranter, comedian Louis C.K., director James Toback, etc.

Now, it looks like all of that is a thing of past since there are reports saying that Gambit will begin shooting early next year, probably in February. The studio plans to make the movie in 5 months and wrap production in July 2018. This is a reasonable date since the movie is set for release on February 14, 2019.

Previously, multiple rumors about the plot of the movie appeared, although the studio hesitated to share any info with fans. It is believed that Gambit will be a heist movie and that other mutants will make an appearance in it. Mister Sinister is speculated to be the villain and could be portrayed by Daniel Craig. Lizzy Caplan is also reportedly in talks for the female lead role. Of course, it is important to note that these are all rumors and have not been confirmed by the studio. We should get further info soon enough.

Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) was first attached to direct the movie but left because schedule conflicts after Fox postponed the production. Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity) stepped in as a replacement but also left the project after he didn’t like the script. Finally, Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski stepped in and signed to make the movie.

Gambit already made a live-action movie debut in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. It was portrayed by Taylor Kitsch, whose version of the character didn’t sit well with the fans.
