]]>It feels like ages that Ariana Grande has been teasing us about the music video for her new track, Thank U, Next.
Written as a “tribute” to her exes, the video was set to take inspiration from 2000 film classics such as Mean Girls, Legally Blonde, Bring It On, and 13 Going on 30.
And now we have the final product!
The video features messages about her exes in the infamous “Burn Book” (including a very interesting on about her former fiancé, Pete Davidson…)
It is also riddled with celebrity cameos including the likes of Troye Sivan, Jennifer Coolidge, and Kris Jenner.
The video also earned praise from the stars of the films parodied.
Reese Witherspoon from Legally Blonde:
Can we please talk about @ArianaGrande's Bend and Snap?! 10/10 nailed it! #thankunext

As well as Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo from 13 Going on 30:
Having some Razzles (it’s a candy AND a gum) in your honor, @ArianaGrande! #thankunext https://t.co/5QA1pNtbiO
— Mark Ruffalo (@MarkRuffalo) November 30, 2018
We’re so grateful, Ari!

]]>And Ariana Grande has done just that.
Following her break-up with Pete Davidson, the God is a Woman singer released the track Thank U, Next in a more than thinly-veiled dig at her ex.
Ariana has been releasing snapshots of the filming of the song’s music video which we already know will feature references to classic films like Mean Girls, 13 Going on 30, and Legally Blonde.
Now the 25-year-old has given us a taste of what we can expect in the eagerly-anticipated video…
The trailer features appearances by fellow singer Troye Sivan and Mean Girls star Jonathan Bennett.
Thank you!
