The Golden Globes kick off festivities every year, with this year’s ceremony taking place even earlier than usual on January 5. The Beverley Hills Hilton will be the venue for the glitzy event, which is often regarded as an office party, where everyone gets a little tipsy thanks to the bottles of booze on the tables. 

Ricky Gervais will be returning to hosting duties, even though he swore he never would (he promises that this is definitely his last time…), but the night is renowned for having various celebrities grace the stage to present awards.

The pair has completed production on Bottom of the 9th from director Raymond De Felitta.

Formerly titled Stano, the film is the story of a man who returns to the Bronx following a 17-year stint in prison for a violent mistake he made as a young man. His imprisonment deprived him of a professional baseball career, and ruined his relationship with the love of his life.

Manganiello and Vergara will be playing Sonny Stano and Angela Ramirez.

The couple have been together since July 2014 and got engaged on Christmas Day that same year. On November 21st 2015, they tied the knot.

Saban Films, which is responsible for the Power Rangers, will be distributing the film — which is also produced by Manganiello — throughout North America.

“I couldn’t be happier to be collaborating with Saban on the release of Bottom of the 9th,” said the Magic Mike actor. “It was a labor of love for me and I am so lucky to be partnered with people so genuine and passionate about the film. They are the perfect partners.”

Bottom of the 9th is scheduled for release on July 19th.

The Colombian actress is set to be a part of a new documentary series which will be broadcast on Facebook. The objective of the Facebook Watch show will be to share love and will feature a daily story of love and human connection throughout 2019.

The Modern Family actress is scheduled to serve as both host and executive producer on the series which has been called 365 Days of Love.

Sofia has said that she is “excited to help bring the world closer together in a conversation about unity, love, and what we all share in together.”
