]]>The pop star dropped by the Stonewall Inn in New York’s Greenwich Village Friday night for an impromptu Pride Month performance.
Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson introduced Swift to the stage and then joined her for a super cute duet of “Shake It Off.”
“I heard that this is Jesse’s favorite song to do at karaoke. So if there’s anything you feel like you want to jump in on, if there’s like, your part that you’re really good at, then, just sing, dance, just be yourself. This is a really safe space,” Swift said.
“I’m so happy I don’t have to keep this secret any longer,” Ferguson tweeted after the special moment. “Look who came to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Stonewall at the Stonewall Inn. @taylorswift13, you are a gem. Thank you for everything you do for the LGBTQ community. We heart you!”
Swift is an avid supporter of the LGBTQ community. She recently released a pride related single, “You Need to Calm Down,” from her upcoming album, Lover, which is scheduled to come out August 23rd.
