They’re both way past the age of 64, but Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr decided to get together for the first time in a long time.

The two are the only surviving members of The Beatles, which is still considered one of the greatest bands of all time.

Paul is currently performing in North America as part of his Freshen Up tour. While in Los Angeles, an old friend pitched up at the concert at Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles.

“We’ve got a surprise for us, a surprise for you, a surprise for everyone: Ladies and gentlemen, the one and only, Ringo Starr,” Paul told the crowd who responded with cheers.

The pair then played some of The Beatles’ classics including “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)” and “Helter Skelter”.

The last time that Paul and Ringo performed together at that venue was with John Lennon and George Harrison in 1966 as part of The Beatles’ penultimate tour.

It was nice to have them come together.
