The show, co-created by Aidy Bryant and Lindy West, will be back for another season, following Bryant’s Annie, a fat young woman who wants to change her life — but not her body.

In season 1, Annie tried to start her career while juggling bad boyfriends, a sick parent, and a perfectionist boss. After facing her demons — her mom, her boss, and her online troll. Annie started season 2 feeling pretty good with her boyfriend Ryan (Luka Jones) by her side. Until she realized that hastily quitting her job and jumping into a relationship with someone who is a little less career-focused may not have been the best idea. While Annie learned it’s not easy to get what she always imagined she’d want, she found that she is no longer the doormat she once was — and she’s just getting started.

Shrill also stars Lolly Adefope, Luka Jones, John Cameron Mitchell, Ian Owens, and Patti Harrison.

AMC has announced that season three of its hit series is coming sooner that expected. 

The show’s third season premiere of the acclaimed Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer series has been moved forward by two weeks and will now debut on April 12. The previous premiere date was April 26. 

“We know how adored this series is and we know how keen people are for great content right now,” said Sarah Barnett, president of AMC Networks Entertainment Group and AMC Studios. “This season of Killing Eve digs deep psychologically, and with actors like Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer and Fiona Shaw the results are nothing short of astonishing. Starz has renewed he Tanya Saracho-created series for a third season. News of the renewal comes less than a week after season two of the acclaimed drama debuted on the cable network.

Vida stars Melissa Barrera and Mishel Prada as Mexican-American sisters Lyn and Emma. The two sisters move back into their childhood home after their mother dies. The two, who couldn’t be more different — Lyn is a vegan free spirit, and Emma is the corporate type — inherit a family-owned bar in her will.

“It is a rarity in television today to have a series earn this level of critical praise for two consecutive seasons and spark cultural conversation in the way that Vida has,” Starz COO Jeffrey Hirsch said in a statement. “We are proud to continue to tell this story with Tanya and the incredible cast and crew she has assembled.”

Per the official logline, in season two, which is currently available on the Starz app and Starz OnDemand, “Lyn and Emma must contemplate the relationships in their lives, including their own, and are forced to dig deep to unearth what their mother’s legacy means to them.”

After the action-packed trailer dropped by Netflix back in March, the streaming giant dropped another teaser trailer to show that the people of Hawkins can also have fun.

The clip dives head-first into the summer featuring the moms at the catching some sun at the Hawkins town pool. The moms, including Mike and Nancy’s mom (!), lounge casually by the pool waiting for the new summertime lifeguard to enter. In walks Billy Hargrove (Dacre Montgomery), who was introduced in Season 2 as the secondary antagonist.

The clip gives us little in terms of plot, but at least we get to dig deeper into the third season’s ‘80s summer vibes.

The series stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Milly Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Cara Buono, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, and Sadie Sink.

The groundbreaking series, currently on hiatus, will return for the remainder of its third and final season in June. The now-series finale is scheduled to air on July 26th.

The teen-centered series was created by Terri Minsky. It centered on 13-year-old Andi (Peyton Elizabeth Lee), whose world is rocked when she finds out that her older sister Bex (Lilan Bowden) is actually her mother. The series also stars Joshua Rush, Sofia Wylie, Lauren Tom, Asher Angel and Trent Garrett. 

The sitcom made history as the first to have one of its characters to say “I’m gay.”

“Andi Mack was a labor of love for a room of impassioned, inventive writers, a talented and dedicated crew, and an extraordinary, miraculous cast who inspired us all,” said Minsky in a statement Wednesday.

“We had the honor of breaking a lot of new ground for Disney Channel. We were its first serialized show, its first series centered around an Asian-American family and its first to feature an LGBTQ character who spoke the words, ‘I’m gay.’”

Multiple outlets confirm that HBO has renewed Barry for an additional and third season. The news comes just two weeks after the show’s second season premiered on March 31st.

Barry, co-created by Bill Hader and Alec Berg, follows the titular character, played by Hader, a hitman who discovers a passion for acting when he comes to Los Angeles on a job. The series also stars Stephen Root, Sarah Goldberg, Anthony Carrigan, and Henry Winkler.

Season two follows Barry as he attempts to untangle himself from the world of contract killing and fully immerse himself in acting. But he then discovers that the external factors are the only forces as play.

The HBO series won three Emmys for its first season, including acting nods for Hader and Winkler. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the first two episode of Barry’s sophomore run have averaged 478,000 viewers down from season one’s 587,000.

BBC America has ordered a new and third season of the acclaimed drama starring Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer. The duo play an MI6 operative (Oh) and a psychopath assassin (Comer) bound by mutual obsession.

News of the renewal came just as the show returned for its second season on Monday.

The series has not only been renewed for a third season, it will also feature a new showrunner, Suzanne Heathcote, who will be taking over for Emerald Fennell as lead writer and executive producer. Fennell is set to take over for creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

“I’m very excited that the Killing Eve baton is being passed onto another incredible writer for season three. We can sleep soundly knowing these characters are safe in Suzanne Heathcote’s hilariously murderous hands,” said Waller-Bridge. 

“It’s been such an exciting year for me on Killing Eve. I think it’s cool that this tradition has been built into this nontraditional show. Inheriting some of Phoebe’s characters was a treat — I can’t wait to see what Suzanne does next,” added Fennell.

The supernatural drama scored a two-series renewal following its season 1 finale in the UK. The series premiered in the UK on Sky One on September 14 and enjoyed an enormous viewership. 

The series is based on Deborah Harkness’ All Souls trilogy of books (A Discovery Of Witches, Shadow Of Night and The Book Of Life), and is all about romance between vampires and witches. It follows the story of Diana Bishop (Teresa Palmer), a scholar at Oxford who also happens to be a descendant of the Salem witches. When she accidentally unlocks an enchanted manuscript, she is compelled to embrace the magic in her and enters a forbidden romance with a 1,500-year-old vampire Matthew Clairmont (Matthew Goode). The two’s love puts them on a dangerous path that has the potential to upset the order of all things magical.

Harkness took to Facebook to thank her UK fans and tease that all involved are already hard to work on the future seasons of the show. 

“The writers are already hard at work to produce scripts so that we can cast and shoot season 2 next year. Elizabethan London, here we come!” she wrote in her post. “Thank you to all our loyal viewers on the UK and territories covered by HBO Europe. Now we pass the baton to viewers in Spain, Portugal, New Zealand, Australia and the US who will be seeing the show in the next few months.”

Season 1 of A Discovery of Witches will hit the US January 17.

Ozark is heading back to Netflix with another season. Jason Bateman who stars in the series tweeted, “I’m happy for me, but concerned for Marty – it’s official OZARK 3 is on the way.” Also starring are Laura Linney, Sofia Hublitz,  Skylar Gaertner, Julia Garner, Jason Butler Harner, Peter Mullan, and Lisa Emery.

The series follows the Byrde family, with patriarch Marty (Bateman) working as a financial adviser as well as a money launderer for a Mexican drug cartel. The second season of Ozark saw the Byrde family and most notably Wendy (Linney), dive further into the world of crime.

Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams created the series which was penned by Chris Mundy. Mundy also serves as executive producer and showrunner. Dubuque, Williams, and Bateman also serve as exec producers. 

Ozark earned five nominations at last month’s Emmys, including Best Actor and Best Director for Bateman.
