]]>Throughout the 29-year-old’s career, she has released songs about love, revenge, and shaking off the negative vibes, inspiring every age group and gender.
So it seems only natural that fans would want to know what the “ME!” singer is watching on TV.
Lucky for us, Tay Tay is letting us in on what she’s tuning into these days, which, of course, includes Game of Thrones!
So much so, that the HBO series inspired her last album.
“So much of my imagination was spent on Game of Thrones… I was making Reputation and I didn’t talk about it in interviews, so I didn’t reveal that a lot of the songs were influenced by the show,” she told Entertainment Weekly.
“These songs were half based on what I was going through, but seeing them through a Game of Thrones filter… ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ is literally Arya Stark’s kill list. ‘King of My Heart’ was influenced by Khal Drogo and Daenerys. It’s even got this post-hook of drums — I wanted them to sound like Dothraki drums.”
Taylor also revealed that she has been enjoying Killing Eve (“I don’t think we’ve seen such a lovable psychopath”), with it yet to be seen whether the Sandra Oh show will inspire her forthcoming 7th album.

The “Blank Space” singer wasn’t able to attend this year’s event at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, as she’s getting ready for her guest appearance on the new episode of Saturday Night Live in New York City, according to ET.
Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild, Philip Sweet, Jimi Westbrook and Kimberly Schlapman accepted the trophy on Swift’s behalf.

“Thanks to Taylor Swift, she couldn’t be here tonight with us but Taylor, wherever you are, thank you for this beautiful song and for loving songs and loving Nashville,” Fairchild said.
Swift was watching the ceremony from her NYC hotel and posted a video to Twitter showing her shocked reaction to the winning moment “Better Man” was announced as Song of the Year.
