There are two things we can expect from each season of Black Mirror—to be super-disturbing and attract an A-list cast. Season 7 will be no different, and its star-studded ensemble will include the likes Issa Rae, Awkwafina, Emma Corrin, and Rashida Jones.

In addition to Rae (Insecure), Awkwafina (The Farewell), Corrin (The Crown), and Jones (Parks and Recreation), Season 7 attracted many more acclaimed actors including Paul Giamatti (The Holdovers), Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who), Tracee Ellis Ross (Black-ish), and Chris O’Dowd (The Big Door Prize).

It will also star Patsy Ferran (Life After Life), Lewis Gribben (Somewhere Boy), Osy Ikhile (Citadel), Siena Kelly (Adult Material), Rosy McEwen (The Alienist), Harriet Walter (Succession), and Paul G. Raymond (Horrible Histories).

In addition to many newcomers, Season 7 will bring back several familiar faces. Billy Magnussen, Jimmi Simpson, Cristin Milioti, and Milanka Brooks will return for the sequel of the acclaimed episode USS Callister, which won an Emmy Award for outstanding television movie back in 2018.

Black Mirror will return for six new episodes sometime in 2025, and creator Charlie Brooker promised a mix of genres and styles, with stories ranging from deeply unpleasant to quite funny and emotional, during Netflix’s Geeked Week.

We’ve never seen parenting quite like Kenya Barris and Rashida Jones’ in the trailer for the new Netflix comedy #blackAF.

The creator of the hit ABC sitcom black-ish, Kenya Barris, is back at it, but this time he’s starring alongside Rashida Jones in #blackAF, which is loosely based on his parenting style, race, relationships, and culture. Unlike other family comedies, this series will take a look at the messier side of families and what it’s like to be a “new money” black family living in today’s world.

Iman Benson, Genneya Walton, Scarlet Spencer, Justin Claiborne, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, and Richard Gardenhire Jr. will also star in the series.

In addition to starring in the show, Barris and Jones executive produced the series.

#blackAF will drop on Netflix on April 17. Check out the trailer below.

Wait, what?

Did Rashida Jones just pull off the greatest surprise of all time?!

According to Us Magazine, the Parks and Recreation actress became a mother a month ago!

Rashida —whose father is the legendary music producer, Quincy Jones — had a baby boy on August 22nd, all the while we didn’t even know she was expecting.

The 42-year-old has been in a relationship with the lead singer of Vampire Weekend, Ezra Koenig, since 2016.

In 2014, Rashida told The Guardian, “I’m happy, but the fact that I’m not married and don’t have kids — it’s taken me a long time to get to a place where I actually am OK with that, where I actually don’t feel like I’m some sort of loser.”

Now she’ll never again have to feel like any sort of loser as the pair are now parents to Isaiah Jones Koenig.

We vote for Grandpa Quincy to read all the bedtime stories.

No one knows a dad better than his daughter, so it seems rather perfect that Rashida Jones will be holding the reigns of a new documentary based on her father.

Quincy Jones has been in the music biz for 6 decades, with the record producer having worked with greats such as Michael Jackson and Frank Sinatra.

A legend in his own right, Quincy will now be the subject of a Netflix doccie that will be directed by Rashida and Alan Hicks.

“It’s rare that somebody who has lived as much life as my dad is still interested in growing and knowing the next generation,” the 42-year-old said in a statement. “He is such a man of action and accomplishments, but we were so lucky to spend real time with him, to let him reflect on life and the larger picture. I feel honored to be able to share that with audiences all over the world.”

The documentary about the EGOT winner will air on Netflix from September 21 and can look forward to a limited theatrical release.
