Priyanka Chopra is in final negotiations to join the forthcoming fourth film in the Matrix saga. 

Should she board the project, she’ll join the previously announced Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Neil Patrick Harris. There’s no additional details regarding Chopra’s prospective character. 

Per Variety, the cast for the forthcoming installment of the franchise has been in fight training for weeks, with production set to begin imminently in Northern California.

The untitled installment will be directed by series co-creator Lana Wachowski.

“One of those friends was the woman that would become my best friend, my confidant, my muse, my beautiful wife. I am so grateful for our journey together so far. You make me smile every day and you inspire me to be the best version of myself. I am honored to be your husband. I love you.”

The annual event is a fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City and allows celebrities to channel all that is weird and wonderful in regards to their outfits.

The theme for 2019 was Camp: Notes on Fashion, with stars like Harry Styles, Lady Gaga, and Jared Leto all making sure that they made statements on the red carpet.

The Shallow singer honored us with no less than 4 outstanding outfits, including a bright pink parachute dress, a strapless black number, and a glittery underwear ensemble.

As a co-chair of the event, Harry rocked the black lace and chiffon.

Jared Leto had everyone seeing double as he carried a fake severed head while dressed all in red.

35 people were needed to create Cardi B’s feathered look, which featured a 10-foot train.

One of the doccie’s most important characters is the spiritual leader’s personal secretary, Ma Anand Sheela, who Bhagwan blamed for an assassination plot involving US attorney Charles H. Turner.

Now the acclaimed docu-series is set to be turned into a feature film with Priyanka Chopra.

Whilst making an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Quantico actress told the comedienne, “We’re developing it as the character of Sheela, who was this guru who originated from India, [Bhagwan’s] right-hand woman. And she was just devious and created a whole cult in America, brought people here. [The documentary] was amazing, and I’m developing that next for me to star in and produce, which I think would be really cool.”

The new Mrs. Nick Jonas will co-produce with Barry Levinson who has brought us Good Morning, Vietnam and Rain Man.

Last month, the pair celebrated their engagement by venturing to India where they took part in a traditional Hindi Roka ceremony.

Whilst appearing as a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon —with his fiancée in the audience — Nick spoke publicly for the first time about his union with the 36-year-old.

“We both left that ceremony so full of joy. We had this beautiful ceremony and we felt so connected, our families all met, it was spiritual and then we put it on Instagram, we were like ‘Oh my God! It’s official,” he quipped.

The 25-year-old also said, “For she and I, I think it was just nice to have that time with the family first. Have that private moment then be able to share with the world afterwards.”

When asked by Jimmy whether they have a celebrity nickname, the former Miss World shouted from the audience “Prick,” which Nick admitted he wasn’t too keen on, and to which the host responded, “Absolutely not!”

The Quantico star took to Instagram to share intimate photos from the ceremony. Alongside a picture in which they look lost in love, staring into each other’s eyes, she wrote, “Taken.. With all my heart and soul…” The groom to be shared the same picture with the caption, “Future Mrs. Jonas. My heart. My love.” 

The photo also displayed Chopra’s engagement ring, which according to E! News is a cushion cut weighing around 4 carats from Tiffany & Co and is valued at $200,000.

Chopra also shared pictures from the traditional pre-wedding Roka ceremony. While Nick opted for a simple white kurta-pajama, Priyanka looks absolutely gorgeous in a yellow salwar with white detailing. “The only way to do this… with Family and God.
