]]> Alecia Beth Moore, known as Pink, will perform the National Anthem, Star-Spangled Banner at the Super Bowl LII, while Justin Timberlake will perform at the halftime show.

Pink was secretive in her tweet from Jan 5, where she wrote about “stuff that’s a secret still and I can’t wait til it’s not a secret”.

Turns out she was talking about Super Bowl, which she confirmed three days later in another tweet.

We’ve heard many famous faces sing the National Anthem before, including Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, etc.

Pink released her seventh studio album, “Beautiful Trauma”  in October — first in five years. Its first single, “What About Us,” received a 2018 Grammy nomination for Best Pop Solo Performance. Her 2018 “Beautiful Trauma” world tour is set to kick off on March 1 in Phoenix.

]]> Pink’s performance at the 2017 AMA’s wowed the audience with her death-defying stunts. She sang her new single “Beautiful Trauma” while dancing on the side of the 34-floor JW Marriott hotel in Los Angeles.

Host Tracee Ellis Ross introduced the 38-year-old singer before the performance, saying “16 years ago, this singer stole our hearts with songs like ‘Don’t Let Me Get Me’ and ‘Get the Party Started.’ Not only is she a powerhouse vocalist, but she’s known for performances that take us to literally new heights. This tops anything she’s ever done. With a beautiful performance, an artist that refuses to stay on the ground. Ladies and gentlemen, Pink.”

Along with a group of talented dancers, the “What About Us” singer was hanging by high wire while walking along the side of the skyscraper hundreds of feet above the ground.

Pink later shared on social media that she collaborated with the dance group Bandaloop and learned the full routine in five days.

“Yeah… we did that,” she revealed. “Bandaloop. They are the most incredible group of daring performers. They put me to shame, but still opened up their art form to me. THANK YOU to everyone that helped us to make this dream happen. THANK YOU to the American Music Awards for taking a chance with me. It was something none of us had ever imagined could be possible.”

“It was the scariest thing I have ever done, and we did it all in five days,” Pink added. “Start to finish. Hell yeah. I love you bandaloop. ❤”
