]]>You follows Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley), a bookstore manager who becomes obsessed with Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail) after she comes into his store. He begins using any means possible to stalk her.
The series will be moving from Lifetime to Netflix.
Per Deadline, Season 2 will have Goldberg moving to Los Angeles and picking another victim to fixate on, Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti). James Scully, Jenna Ortega, Chris D’Elia, and Carmela Zumbado will be joining the cast. Also returning from Season 1 is Ambyr Childers (Candace).
You Season 1 left off after Goldberg murdered Beck and his ex-girlfriend Candace, who we are led to believe is dead, returns.
We’ll just have to wait for Season 2 to see how Candace comes back from the dead.

]]>Fortunately for YOU, the series — based on the books by Caroline Kepnes — was picked up by Netflix after a lackluster reception on Lifetime.
While the first season stayed pretty close to the books, showrunner Sera Gamble threw viewers a major curveball in the last moments of the finale episode: main character/bookshop manager/serial killer/hopeless romantic Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) was stunned when his presumed dead ex, Candance (played by Ambyr Childers), walked into his bookstore.
In the story written by Kepnes, a different girl walks in, but this twist will serve as an important plot line in the upcoming season, which relocates the story to Los Angeles.
Candace will have a large role in season 2, along with Joe’s latest target, Love Quinn (Haunting of Hill House’s Victoria Pedretti). Other cast newcomers include James Scully, Marielle Scott, Charlie Barnett, Adwin Brown, Jenna Ortega, Carmela Zumbado, and Robin Lord Taylor. We can’t wait to see what Joe does (or who he kills) next!

]]>It has been 11 years since we said goodbye to Blair, Serena van der Woodsen, Chuck Bass, Dan Humphrey, Nate Archibald, and all their drama, courtesy of Gossip Girl.
With so many shows receiving the reboot treatment, it is only natural to hope that Gossip Girl will be one of them.
Penn Badgley who played Dan aka Lonely Boy has already said, “Never say never,” when asked about the possibility of returning to the Upper East Side, but Leighton Meester is not so keen.
The 32-year-old, who portrayed Blair, has now said, “ I don’t know if it was the healthiest environment.”
“I wouldn’t trade it for anything,” she told Porter. “It’s sort of a time capsule. A lot of the questions that come from it are: ‘Do you miss it? Did you love what you wore?’ And I understand that, but — and I say this with nothing but love — it is like saying, ‘High school was an amazing time for you. Do you wish you could go back?’ And the truth is, it was so special and such a unique, amazing experience, but no, I wouldn’t wanna go back to it.”
The readers of Gossip Girl will be most disappointed.

During the height of the teen drama, New York City high schoolers stalked the Gossip Girl set in the hopes of seeing their favorite cast members.
“I think as an actor you can become an object of desire, which is something women are already accustomed to more or less around the world — I’ve definitely been, I mean I don’t want to sound sensationalist, but I’ve literally been molested — just in the literal sense of the word — by many people in the moment. Because that’s what they do,” the 31-year-old told The Daily Beast, describing it as “pretty full-on obsession.”
Penn will next be seen in Lifetime’s series You where he plays a bookstore manager who falls in love with a customer and becomes obsessed with her.
