Despite their upcoming album still indefinitely delayed, the Dixie Chicks released a new single from Gaslighter.

The country group has shared their latest single “Julianna Calm Down,” a track off their upcoming album, which was initially slated for a May 1 release, a release date that has been postponed for unknown reasons.

“We can’t give you the full album just yet, but we also couldn’t let May 1 pass by without sharing a new song with you,” they said in a press release. “So, here is track number nine “Julianna Calm Down” off Gaslighter. We hope it makes you feel empowered, smile, and strut the f*** around like you’ve got nothing to lose. We will strut through this time together.”

Listen below and as lead singer Natalie Maines says, stay strong and remember to “breathe.”

Justin Bieber surprised his fans with the best Christmas present they could possibly wish for when he dropped a cryptic video announcing his new album is coming out next year.

The clip opens with Bieber saying, “As humans, we are imperfect. My past and my mistakes, all the things that I’ve been through. I believe that I’m right where I’m supposed to be… and God has me right where he wants me.” The narration is followed by the beats of his new single “Yummy.”

We won’t have to wait for long to hear the song in full, since it’s set to hit the shelves on January 3rd. We already have a pretty good idea how it’s going to sound, but we’re probably going to learn more about Bieber’s journey to record this album when his new docu-series drops on New Year’s Eve.

The singer’s next album still doesn’t have an official release date, but it’s safe to expect it to come out in the next few months.

Justin Bieber is also plotting a massive stadium tour across North America, taking place between May and September next year.

Ariana Grande debuts a new song, which is very clearly dedicated to all of her exes.

The 25-year-old singer performed “Thank U, Next” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and is was a whirlwind performance. This was the first televised performance of the new single. Grande channeled the hit 1996 film The First Wives Club with fellow singers Tayla Parx and Victoria Monet.

Grande teased the performance via Instagram sharing a snap of herself with Parx and Monet clad in all white sultry ensembles, captioned with, “First wives club 2018… @theellenshow tomorrow 🖤 i love you @victoriamonet @taylaparx… thank u, next.”

The single features lines about four of her ex-boyfriends including former fiance, Pete Davidson, the late Mac Miller, Big Sean, and Ricky Alvarez. But the single is also a tribute to the journey these relationships were part of, and the woman she’s become as a result.

The performance was definitely eventful as the singer almost fell over while climbing down from a chair and exclaimed, “Oh my god!” Luckily all that did is give her a sweet case of the giggles. Grande got extra emotional when she sang a line about her parents:

“One day I’ll walk down the aisle. Holding hands with my mama,” she sang holding back tears. “I’ll be thanking my dad. ‘Cause she grew from the drama.”

Great news Backstreet Boys fans! The band has finally released a new single.

The new single comes 5 years with no new music, that is since the release of their last album In a World Like This.

In the new single titled Don’t Go Breaking My Heart the Boys are getting personal, singing about heartbreak, a staple in countless pop songs.

But despite the recurring theme, the group just knew they had something special in their hands,

“The minute we heard this song we knew it was special,” Kevin Richardson said in a statement. “I geeked out over the piano and synths. When that groove drops on the second verse, COME ON. Great verse, hook, and melodies. Just makes you wanna listen over and over again.” Bandmate Howie Dorough added, “It had that wow factor from the demo through to its final recording.”

The group has been working on their Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life Las Vegas residency as well as a 10th studio album. Don’t Go Breaking My Heart is the second track recorded for the album. The band played around with different genres while making the record, including country, which proved successful in their collaborative track with Florida Georgia Line.

“We’ve had a lot of love from the country world lately, so we definitely explored that and at one point even talked about doing a straight-up country record,” Dorough said. “Not to say that isn’t still on the table and something we’ll consider down the line, but we kept coming back to the fact that our roots remain in the pop world. And, with all the nostalgia of everything right now, we know we’re essentially a pop band.”

Their new album is set to drop this year.
