Netflix has ordered another season of the animated anthology series.

The renewal was announced via Twitter Monday morning.

The first season of Love, Death, Robots consisted of 18 episodes. The standalone animated short stories hailed from different writers, directors, and animation studios. Each episode was 6-17 minutes long and ranged in genre from sci-fi, to fantasy, horror, and comedy.

The Hollywood Reporter also confirms that Kung Fu Panda 2 and 3 director Jennifer Yuh Nelson has joined the second season as supervising director.

The series was created by Tim Miller and David Fincher. Back when it was announced, Miller said that Love, Death, Robots was his “dream project.”

“It combines my love of animation and amazing stories. Midnight movies, comics, books and magazines of fantastic fiction have inspired me for decades, but they were relegated to the fringe culture of geeks and nerds of which I was a part. I’m so f***ing excited that the creative landscape has finally changed enough for adult-themed animation to become part of a larger cultural conversation,” he said.

A release date and episode count for the forthcoming volume has yet to be announced.
