Hemsworth said he’s over the moon to play Geralt of Rivia because he’s been The Witcher fan for years, and thanked Cavill for allowing him to take up the White Wolf’s blades for the next chapter of his adventure.

“Henry, I’ve been a fan of yours for years and was inspired by what you brought to this beloved character. I may have some big boots to fill, but I’m truly excited to be stepping into The Witcher world,” said Hemsworth in a statement.

Cavill will bid his farewell when The Witcher returns for Season 3 on Netflix. Its release date is yet to be announced, but it will most likely premiere next summer.

The show will also feature Liam Hemsworth as a terminally ill man who signs up to be prey in a highly deadly game in an effort to provide for his pregnant wife. It is still unknown what Waltz’s role will entail, with the only detail revealed is his character’s name: Miles Sellers.

The series is made by CBS Television Studios and created by Nick Santora, who previously worked on Prison Break. Phil Abreham, who directed Mad Men and Daredevil, will direct and executive produce alongside Santora, Gordon Gray and Silver Reel Pictures.

Quibi is a mobile-focused service and is set to launch in April 2020. The service is currently developing 40 scripted and unscripted projects. It plans to premiere 7,000 pieces of content in its first year and to release shows in short 8-10 minutes episodes. It will charge viewers $4.99 monthly for a version containing ads and $7.99 for an ad free version.

The pair had been together since meeting while filming The Last Song in 2009 and had an on-off relationship until 2015, when it seemed very much on.

In light of the split, Miley has released a new song entitled “Slide Away.”

The track seems to address the nature of Miley and Liam’s relationship through its lyrics, especially their break-up.

“Once upon a time, it was made for us / Woke up one day, it had turned to dust / Baby, we were found, but now we’re lost / So it’s time to let it go.”

Other references in the song include their Malibu home which burnt down during the California wildfires and the fact that post break-up, the Hunger Games actor has returned home to Australia to be with family.

Pictures emerged over the weekend of what appeared to be a wedding with Miley and Liam Hemsworth as the bride and groom.

The pics, posted by surfer, Conrad Jack Carr, showed the pair cutting an assumed wedding cake at a party that included Miley’s mom Tish and Liam’s brothers Chris and Luke, in addition to balloons which read “Mr” and “Mrs”.

All that speculation about whether they did or didn’t has now been confirmed by the bride herself.

The “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” singer shared her own pictures to Instagram of the newlyweds embracing, together with the words, “10 years later.”

The caption refers to the couple beginning their relationship on the set of The Last Song in 2009. And, although there were a few break-ups in between, not even a wrecking ball could keep them apart!
