]]>First thing’s first, Del Rey’s new LP Chemtrails over the Country Club came out on March 19th, together with the roller-blading themed music video for “White Dress”. This song serves as the third single from her new album, and it was preceded by “Let Me Love You Like a Woman” and “Chemtrails over the Country Club”.
Del Rey’s fans are currently busy memorizing the lyrics of 11 tracks featured on this album, but more new music is already on the way. Shortly after Chemtrails over the Country Club hit the shelves, the singer already announced she’s working on its follow-up.
She teased her next album Rock Candy Sweet on social media and revealed it is scheduled to be released on June 1st. Not much is known about this album, but Del Rey said she’ll use it to challenge perceptions about some of the problematic themes she explores through her music.

]]>Del Rey has been planning to release her book of poetry, titled Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass, for some time, and this album will make it possible to share her “freestyle poetry” with the world in a brand-new way.
The “Born To Die” singer said she wants this album to cost only a dollar, because she loves the idea that thoughts are priceless and meant to be shared. Whatever the price of this album ends up being, she’s donating half of the proceeds to Native American organizations.
“I had wanted to do it because in doing my own work in connecting to my own family lineage I was encouraged to also try to connect to the country’s lineage. I just really wanted to sort of pay homage to the country that I love so much by doing my own reparation,” said Lana Del Rey in a video she shared on Instagram.
Her spoken word album will be released on January 4th, but she’s also planning to drop a new record titled White Hot Forever some time next year.

]]>Norman F**ing Rockwell came out on August 30th, and includes the tracks “Mariners Apartment Complex,” “Venice Bitch,” and “Doin’ Time”.
The album‘s cover features a picture of Del Rey and Jack Nicholson’s grandson, Duke Nicholson, on a sailboat. The photo was taken by the singer’s photographer sister.
In an interview with The Times, Del Rey has already revealed that album #7 is on its way.
“I’ve already written parts of it,” she said. “I feel like it probably will be a surprise release sometime within the next 12 or 13 months. I’m really excited right now. I don’t want to take a break.”
The next album is expected to be called White Hot Forever.
Definitely no summertime sadness for this chick!

Now, Lana Del Rey has come out and declared herself as a fan of the young artist. In a recent interview, she described the young star as “prodigious” before praising her contribution to pop music culture.
“I love Billie Eilish,” Del Rey told The New York Times. “And I feel like I’ve been waiting for this time in pop music culture.”
“I personally am very discerning. I can tell if a female pop singer, for instance, has a generosity of spirit or a playful fire in her heart,” she continued.

]]>The 6th studio album has been entitled Norman F***ing Rockwell and references the American artist who died in 1978.
The last time the “Summertime Sadness” singer released an album was 2017’s Lust for Life, but she has given fans crumbs from Norman F***ing Rockwell since September last year, including “Mariners Apartment Complex”, “Venice Bitch”, and “Doin’ Time”.
Lana has now released the album’s entire track listing, which consists of 14 songs, some of which were produced by Jack Antonoff of FUN.
The album’s cover feature a snap taken by Lana’s sister of the singer alongside actor Duke Nicholson, who is the grandson of Jack Nicholson.
Norman F***ing Rockwell is out on August 30th.
