Premiere dates for the first two series have now been announced for the first two weeks of October.

Ruby Rose’s incarnation of Batwoman will hit screens on October 6th. The cousin of Bruce Wayne attempts to save Gotham three years after Batman disappears and must do so while battling her own inner demons, which include a complicated family and feelings for her ex-girlfriend.

The remake of Nancy Drew will arrive three days later. The team behind Gossip Girl — Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage — are producing the series, which stars Kennedy McCann as the titular character. The first season will revolve around the murder of a local socialite, with Nancy as one of the prime suspects.

The date for the Riverdale spin-off, Katy Keene, has not yet been announced. It is set to star Lucy Hale as one of four friends who venture to New York City to follow their dreams.

The ever-expanding universe of Archie Comics is set to expand once again — this time with a series focusing on a young fashion-legend-in-the-making.

There are already two shows featuring characters from the comics — Riverdale and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina — with a pilot for Katy Keene having been ordered by The CW.

Set in New York City, the series will follow Katy, played by Lucy Hale of Pretty Little Liars, and three of her friends, who are all aspiring to make it big in the world of musical theater, fashion, and the pop charts.

The spin-off has been described as a musical dramedy, which is extremely different to Riverdale.

Let’s hope Katy Keene comes to life.
