Dessner also helped Swift conceive the album’s most emotionally raw song, “So Long, London”, which is already being hailed as “All Too Well” of Tortured Poets.
The Tortured Poets Department has given us several vicious revenge songs that would put Reputation to shame, but none of them is as biting as “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived”.
Most of the songs on Tortured Poets chronicled different stages of heartbreak, but Swift decided to simply have fun on “Florida!!!” and she found a perfect partner in crime in Florence Welch.
