]]>“Made in a bedroom 1999 these mixtapes were never really finished. Lyrics written and performed by Tom Hardy. Music written and produced by Ed Tracy. Thanks for all the positive vibes and support for these tunes! Peace, Ed x” – wrote Tracy in the description.
If you are eager to hear Tommy No 1 dropping lyrics over hard beats, you can do so below.
“I started out rapping when I was 14 or 15.” Hardy described his rap career in an interview with BBC. “Because I come from a nice middle-class neighborhood it was a very hard sell. And I wasn’t very good!”
It isn’t like he wasn’t in good hands, since he collaborated with people who sooner or latter found success in music.
“I used to be with the guy who managed Leela James and Lauren Hill, Pras, the Fugees and all that.” – he added. “I worked out with Warren Riker and Gordon Williams. I’ve recorded loads of stuff but it’s never been released.”
Tom Hardy never managed to become Dr. Dre or Eminem, but at least we got to enjoy his acting talents. After the movies Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, and Mad Max: Fury Road, Hardy is ready to bring another big hit with the upcoming Venom movie in which he plays the titular role.
