You heard right, The Soup will be returning back to E!.

The network announced during the People Choice Awards that the show will be revived but with a new host this time around. Comedian-actress Jada Catta-Preta will be the host.

The Soup first aired as Talk Soup in 1991 and previous hosts have included Joel McHale, Greg Kinnear, John Henson, Hal Sparks, and Aisha Tyler. In total there were over 3,300 episodes with the last episode being in 2015. The show recapped the most memorable pop culture and television moments that happened throughout the week.

Rod Aissa, EVP, Production and Development, Oxygen & Production, E! said, “We’re excited to bring this beloved franchise back to the network, with a new take on an old favorite. Jade’s quick wit and keen observations will provide a much-needed voice in today’s pop culture landscape delivered in a way that only The Soup can.”

The Soup is set to premiere in early 2020.
