There ain’t no telling Miss Jennifer Lopez what she can’t do.

19 years after slaying the 2000 Grammy Awards red carpet in a Versace dress that has since become iconic, the “Ain’t Your Mama” singer is at it again.

The original creation comprised of a plunging neckline to J.Lo’s navel, in a fabric that included blue and green florals.

The 50-year-old decided to turn heads once more at the Versace show at Milan Fashion Week when she wore an updated version of the design.

The new dress is even more dramatic, including side cut-outs and showing off the singer’s legs.

She revealed to Vogue, however, that she almost didn’t wear the now-famous look in the first place… Jennifer’s stylist, Andrea Lieberman, was not keen on the creation when the Hustlers actress tried it on during the fitting. “Andrea, my stylist, was like, ‘No you can’t wear that,’” she recalled. “She was like, ‘No, it’s just that you can’t wear that one. Somebody else has worn it. Actually, Donatella [Versace] herself has worn it. One of the Spice Girls has worn it. Sandra Bullock has worn it in another color.”

Thankfully, Jennifer didn’t listen and the rest is history!

The Metropolitan Museum of Art announced on Wednesday that the co-chairs of the 2018 Met Gala will be Amal Clooney, Rihanna, Donatella Versace and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

The theme of the all-star event, which is dubbed as the Fashion Oscars, will be “Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.”

The Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art explained that the annual spring exhibit – and the May 7 gala launching it – will observe “fashion’s ongoing engagement with the devotional practices and traditions of Catholicism,” joining works of fashion with works of religious art, including around 50 ecclesiastical masterworks on loan from the Sistine Chapel sacristy at the Vatican, according to CBS News.

The museum said that those items, which will be on view in the Anna Wintour Costume Center galleries, will include papal vestments and accessories from the 18th to the early 21st century, such as tiaras and rings.

“Fashion and religion have long been intertwined, mutually inspiring and informing one another,” Andrew Bolton, Curator in Charge of The Costume Institute, said in a statement. “Although this relationship has been complex and sometimes contested, it has produced some of the most inventive and innovative creations in the history of fashion.”

The 150 fashion collections will come from a slew of designers, including Coco Chanel, Cristobal Balenciaga, Givenchy, Christian Lacroix, John Galliano, Karl Lagerfeld, Thierry Mugler, Raf Simons, Thom Browne and Gianni and Donatella Versace, and many more.

This will be Rihanna’s seventh Met Gala, with her first appearance in 2007. Versace made her debut at the ball in 1995 and has attended 16 times. As for Amal, this will be her second visit. The civil rights attorney first attended with husband George Clooney in 2015, when the theme was China: Through The Looking Glass. She wore a dazzling red Maison Margiela “Artisanal” gown created by John Galliano, according to ET.
