The post “Chaos Walking” Starring Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley Finally Has a Release Date appeared first on TheDailyDay.
]]>Chaos Walking, which began shooting back in 2017, was originally supposed to be released on March 1st, 2019, but reshoots caused Lionsgate to set back the opening.
The film, directed by Doug Liman, is based on Patrick Ness’ Chaos Walking: The Knife of Never Letting Go, a dystopian trilogy where all the creatures can hear each other’s thoughts.
According to Lionsgate, Chaos Walking tells the story of “two unlikely companions [who] embark on a perilous adventure through the badlands of an unexplored planet, as they try to escape a dangerous and disorienting reality; where all inner thoughts are seen and heard by everyone.”
Holland (Spider-Man: Far From Home) and Ridley (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker) will play lead characters Todd Hewitt and Viola Eade. Also starring in the film are Cynthia Erivo, Mads Mikkelsen, David Oyelowo, Demián Bichir, and Nick Jonas.

]]>With less than two months to go until the long-awaited film opens in theatres, Disney and LucasFilm have released its final trailer. With hopes already high for the ninth installment in the Star Wars series, the clip does not disappoint!
Daisy Ridley returns as Rey and we see the last known Jedi in the very first shot. The Rise of Skywalker is set a year after the events depicted in The Last Jedi as the remaining members of the Resistance come up against the First Order yet again. As this is the final piece of the Skywalker saga, the ancient conflict between the Jedi and the Sith reaches its climax…
In addition to Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, and Billie Lourd will also be reprising their roles. Leftover footage from The Force Awakens has also been used to posthumously include the late Carrie Fisher as Leia Organa. Naomi Ackie, Richard E. Grant, Keri Russell, Matt Smith, and Dominic Monaghan join the film as new additions.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker enters theatres on December 20th.

Like Star Wars.
The current trilogy will wrap up in December with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
But its star Daisy Ridley has assured fans that the ending will be far better than that of the adaptation of George R. R. Martin’s book series.
“I couldn’t tell you what I’ve done for the past month, like six weeks… except watch Game of Thrones. I think this ending will be less controversial,” she said at Disney’s D23 convention.
The Star Wars trilogy to follow will actually be written by Game of Thrones creators, David Benioff and D. B. Weiss.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be out on December 20th, 2019.

“I heard a knock on the door. These two guys went, ‘Hey, Daisy, can I get an autograph?’ and I literally went, ‘No f**kin’ way,'” she recalled. “My mum said to me, ‘Everyone’s trying to take ownership of you.'”
Ridley admitted that she was not comfortable with the newfound fame so she sought professional help. “I went and saw a lovely lady,” she shared. “I felt like I was sort of reducing myself because I was so worried that people would recognize me.”
The 25-year-old actress also revealed that she suffered from endometriosis in June last year and got diagnosed with the disease at age 15. It affected her self-esteem during her teenage years.
On the positive side, Ridley also contributed in Vogue’s “73 Questions” segment where she shared her fashion sense and dished about the hotly anticipated Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
“Usually [my style] is like a four-year-old boy. I was a little tomboy [with] insane amounts of energy.”
She has four tattoos which her mother, Louise Fawkner-Corbett, dislikes.
She got her inks because she “really loves” to look at them, adding, “I don’t need a tattoo to represent my life. But I really love it. I like looking at it and thinking about all of the things that are constant.”
