]]> Season 2 finale of And Just Like That… is just around the corner, but it won’t mark the ending of this story. Max is putting full trust in the S-x and the City revival and they’ve officially renewed it for its third season, with Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon returning in the lead roles.

Renewing And Just Like That… was a no-brainer for Max, and the streamer’s head of content Sarah Aubrey claims it’s their No. 1 Max original and is the most-watched returning Max original to date. She praised creator Michael Patrick King for continuing to charm us with this story 25 years later, along with his talented writers, producers, cast, and crew.

And Just Like That… catches us with Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda two decades later, and sees them navigating the reality of life and friendship in their 50s. Season 2 kicked off with Carrie mourning Mr. Big’s death, Miranda trying to figure out where she stands in her relationship with Che, and Charlotte trying to find herself outside of her role as a mother and wife.

Season 2 finale of And Just Like That… will premiere on August 24, and it’s expected to feature a cameo from Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones in S-x and the City.
