Caterina Scorsone has announced that she is due to become a mom for the third time around. The actress is already mother to 7-year-old Eliza and 2-year-old Pippa with husband Rob Giles. Pippa, who is almost 3, has Down syndrome, with Scorsone creating awareness for the condition and sharing support for fellow parents. 

“A lot of parents who find out their new baby has Down syndrome worry about what the impact of having a child with differences will be on their other kids,” she previously wrote on Instagram. “They haven’t seen it modeled so they are afraid of it. I wish I could show everyone the joy and sweetness and love that has expanded and grown in our family since Pippa was born.”

Pippa is now set to become a big sister!

Sharing a photo of the foursome dressed as the Addams Family for Halloween, Scorsone wrote, “Our family’s about to get even kookier,” with the hashtag “pumpkin in the oven.”

Scorsone’s first pregnancy was written into her character’s storyline on Private Practice, while her second — which occurred during Grey’s — was covered up. 

As for number three? Spoiler alert: Amelia is currently expecting!
