NBC is making itself a very comfortable home for fans of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and its fans. In addition to saving the series after FOX announced its end, the network has ordered an extra 5 episodes as part of the forthcoming 6th season.

As a result, we can expect 18 episodes of antics starring Andy Samberg, Terry Crews, and the rest of the precinct.

And it’s not just us who are excited. Terry shared the news on Twitter:

Andy encouraged us all to party over the good tidings:

And Stephanie Beatriz let us know just how happy she is:

The cast began filming of the new season a couple of weeks ago, sharing a few behind the scenes pictures from the set:

Sadly, we’re likely to have to wait for 2019 for season 6, but the extra episodes seem like a good compromise!

]]> Terry Crews may have lost out on some recent roles, but his Brooklyn Nine-Nine co-stars are in his corner.

The former NFL player stated that he pulled out of reprising his role as Hale Caesar in Expendables 4 after producer, Avi Lerner, allegedly told him that the only way he could return was if he dropped a sexual harassment claim against a talent agent.

Terry accused William Morris Endeavor talent agent, Adam Venit, of groping him at a party in 2016, and revealed Lerner’s threat during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on the Sexual Assault Survivor Bill of Rights last week Tuesday.

While some may be throwing shade at Terry’s way, his colleagues from the former FOX show have nothing but love.

“He’s a miracle,” said Andy Samberg. “We have a cast text chain and we were all texting him how incredible it was. Terry’s the best guy. I am proud to know him.”

We couldn’t agree more.
