Swift, who stars in Tom Hooper’s upcoming big-screen adaptation of the long-running musical from Andrew Lloyd Webber, tells British Vogue that she loved the quirkiness of the film. “I really had an amazing time with Cats. I think I loved the weirdness of it. I loved how I felt I’d never get another opportunity to be like this in my life.”
The film also stars Judi Dench, Idris Elba, Jennifer Hudson, and James Corden as full-figured feline characters.
Cats is coming to the silver screen on 20 December 2019.

]]>The prestigious acronym refers to those who have won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award —basically the highest honors in television, music, film, and theatre.
Past winners have included Rita Moreno, Audrey Hepburn, Mel Brooks, and Whoopi Goldberg.
With the Creative Arts Emmy Awards having been held on Saturday night, 3 new EGOT winners were inducted into the club.
Welcome, John Legend, Andrew Lloyd-Webber, and Tim Rice.
All three won an Emmy for variety special for NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar, Live in Concert.
John also made history as the first black man to do so, and, at 39, tied with Robert Lopez as the youngest.
“When I got into the music business it was a dream of mine to win Grammys and have plenty of success as a musician and sell lots of records and tour around the world as a performer, but I never had a dream of winning an EGOT, I didn’t even know what that was at the time,” he said.
