]]>Bradley Whitford (Commander Joseph Lawrence) and Amy Landecker (Mrs. Mackenzie) have surprised fans by revealing that they secretly got hitched.
The couple have starred together on Transparent as well as most recently both having parts on The Handmaid’s Tale.
The Instagram marriage announcement from Landecker paid tribute to the Hulu show with her caption, “Of Bradley.”
The post, which showed the newlyweds surrounded by their dogs, also revealed that the couple, who have been together since 2015, decided to elope.
“In a shocking, totally unearned plot twist, Commander Lawrence married Mrs. McKenzie today in Santa Barbara,” the groom tweeted in references to their Handmaid’s characters. “The shark may have been jumped, but the couple is thrilled.”
