The 2018 VS runway was the last time 37-year-old model strutted her wings. Her last walk took place Thursday during the Victoria Secret Fashion Show at Pier 94 in New York City.

The Brazilian model was an Angel for twenty years and walked in a total of eighteen of their fashion shows. She first walked for the lingerie brand in 1999. Backstage just before the show, she told Entertainment Tonight:

“It’s my 18th Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and throughout the years I thought that I would get more relaxed and less anxious. “But I’m still nervous and I’m still anxious about it. It doesn’t go away.” Joining her for her final walk for the very first time were her daughter Sienna (6) and Valentina (8).

“My children will be here tonight. It’s going to be the first time watching the show. I can’t wait to see their reaction… I want to represent myself well under the eyes of my children. I hope I will make them happy.”

Lima celebrated the bitter-sweet moment with a moving highlight reel of the best moments of her VS career. She captioned the video with, “Dear Victoria, Thank you for showing me the world, sharing your secrets, and most importantly not just giving me wings but teaching me to fly. And all the to the best fans in the ! Love, Adriana ”

For her final look, the Angel wore beige lingerie with a silver bejeweled top, feathered heels and white peacock feather wings. At the end of the runway, she blew a kiss to the camera and then held her hands on her chest as a sign of gratitude as she held back tears.
