Which Luxury SUV is Ideal For You?

SUV’s continue to be a popular choice for drivers due to their spaciousness, gas mileage, comfort, and versatility on the road. Whether you’re going for a relaxing drive in the country, a traffic-packed ride in the city, or taking a trip to the mountains, a luxury SUV will get you there safely and in style.

There are many makes and models available, but some are just better than others. We’ve compiled a list of our favorite luxury SUV’s for 2019.

Why Choose an SUV over a Sedan?

Before buying a car there are many questions you must consider in order to make the right choice. These include: How many people are in your family? Do you carry lots of heavy things regularly? Where will you be mostly driving to? And What are the condition of the roads?

While a sedan is usually more cost effective in regards to gas per mileage, it only seats five people – three people sit in the back which can get crammed very quickly. SUV’s typically seat seven people with two in the front, two in the middle and three in the back, which makes them a better choice for bigger families.

An SUV also gives you a better view of the road conditions, specifically allowing you to avoid potholes or cracks, which helps keep your car in good condition. SUV’s also typically have four-wheel drive which gives you the opportunity take off-road adventures. If you live somewhere where it rains or snows often, an SUV is a much after car because they weigh more and the wheel are bigger and wider which allows them to take on extreme weather conditions.

2019 Audi Q8 – $67,400

The 2019 Audi Q8 is a great choice for a luxury SUV that’s worth the cost. It features a 3.0-liter TFSI V6 engine, 335 horsepower, an eight-speed automatic transmission with Sport mode, and Audi’s Quattro AWD system. It can go from zero to 60 mph in 6.1 seconds. The fuel economy on the Audi QA in one of the best features – it’s 25-mpg.

The interior is definitely something we would expect to see in a luxury SUV – it’s spacious and we love the wood, metal, and leather finishes. The media system is dual-screen which gives the SUV a space-age vibe and the technology is impressive.

You’ll feel safe in the SUV – the Standard Audi Pre Sense allows for automatic braking and the safety features include: traffic sign recognition, blind-spot monitoring, and night vision assistance for detecting pedestrians.

2019 Jaguar I-Pace – $69,500

The 2019 Jaguar I-Pace is the only electronic car on our list. One charge will last you 240 miles. The I-Pace has two electric motors that result in a 394 horsepower, a torque-vectoring AWD system, and adjustable air suspension. It also goes from zero to 60 in 4.5 seconds.

The I-Pace happens to be the perfect car for the explorer – it can take you up hills to the mountains or down to the water. It also has a luxury feel with suede and leather interior trimmings. The technology is not too shabby – there’s a 10-inch display, Wi-Fi hot spot, and a digital gauge cluster.

2019 Lamborghini Urus – $200,000

The 2019 Lamborghini Urus is definitely significantly more expensive than the 2019 Audi Q8 and the 2019 Jaguar I-Pace, so is it worth the extra cost? The short answer is yes. It’s Lamborghini’s first crossover SUV and it happens to also be extremely fast. If you’re into style and appearance this car has got it – it’s an SUV, but it reminds us of the futuristic race cars we love from action films. The SUV is available in many striking color options that come in metallic and matte.

The engine of the Urus is a machine; twin turbocharged V8 engine, 641 horsepower, four-wheel steering, an advanced AWD system, and an Off-Road drive mode. What’s most incredible is the speed of this thing – it can go from zero to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds!

So, what makes the Urus different from other Lamborghinis? It’s made for families and it’s spacious, but you’ll still have everything you know and love from the typical sports car Lamborghinis including the technology, aluminum pedals, and flat-bottom steering wheel.
